The app looks fun enough. But it wont load past the playmation moon logo screen.
Hurts my brain. I find myself disagreeing with the app when it indicates a sentence isnt proper grammar. But after studying for a bit I realize what I missed (usually a plural or something).
This is a quirky little word game. Really enjoying it. But I see others complaining that it wont load. Heres the issue, developers: Youre waiting for Game Center to initialize before you allow the game to start. Im not sure what caused this, but Game Center on iOS 9.0 often takes MINUTES to load. Ridiculously long. And then (on my phone, at least) it causes a game to freeze for a couple seconds when it finally does load. Awful. Apple really screwed it up. But do your users a favor: dont hold up the game waiting for Game Center. Most other games proceed just fine without it.
My 7-year-old and I both enjoy this game. We laugh at each others silly sentences. I would suggest having a list of the sentences created at the end of the round that could be exported.
Cant even get past the intro. Trying every configuration for bagel sentence and they are all wrong. No other buttons to push to get out or skip intro. Very frustrating.
Great game and super addicting !
I found this to be more frustrating than relaxing.
Help
Ipad1 user, ios 5.1.1 and it does not open at all. Want a refund.
Aaaaahhhh!!!
This is just great fun. The alliteration bonus is the kind of small, thoughtful detail that makes it even more fun.
Its hard to build sentences when 95% of the words are plurals and the game doesnt allow stringing plurals. ”Artists opinions consume penguins" should be a legitimate sentence—and it IS, in actual English, however nonsensical—and yet in the game its rejected. It would be nice to be able to do this. It would also be nice to be able to reset the board with all new words, since Endless mode doesnt seem to start a new game.
Lewis Carroll would have loved this game. As a fan of Noam Chomskys linguistics, the name caught my eye, and Ive enjoyed playing the game. Working on sentences rather than letters and words as in most games of this category is a refreshing change. Ive recommended it to my Facebook friends. The sentences are often so amusing or accidentally poetic that my one request for an improvement would be for the game to record an archive of all the sentences made and allow us to keep just the ones we like. Thanks for giving us a toy that plays with semantics and semiotics so amusingly.
I really wanted to like this game, but I find it just too frustrating when most of the verbs are the wrong tense for the nouns. Now, if they were better matched, I would have had some kooky sentences to lighten the day.
